Handkerchief (“Fazzoletto”) vase in lattimo, amethyst and pink zanfirico rod glass.

The model, like N.4215 and 2986, is characterized by the pointed, very sharply indented rim.

The Fazzoletti (handkerchiefs) series of vases is one of the most characteristic Venini productions of the 1950s, and became something of an icon of Murano glass of the time, particularly internationally.
